41 - A Mukta Recognizes Another Mukta

Once Bapashri went to Mooli in a group for Samaiya (religious grand function). On his way back to Baldiya, Bapashri used to visit various places. He used to visit Haribhaktas of those places.

Once while travelling, Bapashri reached Dhrangadhra. There lived a poor Haribhakta named Gigabhai. He used to accompany Bapashri when Bapashri visited other Haribhaktas houses. He had one desire, ‘I wish Bapashri would visit my place!’ Then he thought, ‘I am very poor. How could I invite Bapashri? What if he refuses?’

Gigabhai was feeling sad by such thoughts. Bapashri knew about the wish of Gigabhai. He looked at him and smiled. Gigabhai’s house was close by. Bapashri asked the driver of the cart, ‘Please stop the cart. I want to go to urinate.’ On hearing this, Gigabhai had an idea in a flash of a second.

He went running to Bapashri and requested, ‘Bapashri, please come to my place. It is close by.‘ Bapashri went to his house. Gigabhai was full of joy. He was thinking that Bapashri was very passionate and kind. He came to know about my wish, so he visited my place!’

When Bapashri returned from the washroom, Gigabhai took him to a cradle. His eleven months old son was lying in the cradle.

Gigabhai prayed, ‘Bapa, please bless my son!’ Diwaliba was standing next to Bapashri. She requested, ‘Bapa! Please bless him that the son of Gigabhai may also grow up as a devotee of God.’

Bapashri took the child in his hands. He put on a dot of Kumkum on the forehead of the child using the Kumkum from the dot on his own forehead.

The child looked at Bapashri and chuckled happily. Bapashri also smiled at him. Bapashri spoke, ‘This child is a favourite Mahamukta of Shreeji Maharaj. He is going to liberate many souls. He will get involved in omnibeneficial activities.’ Gigabhai was full of joy listening to such auspicious statements of Bapashri. Tears of joy were rolling down his eyes.

By the blessings of Bapashri the child grew up as pious person. He liberated many souls. He helped a lot of people in trouble. He liberated many ghosts and souls those wandered and haunted in search of liberation. He liberated a lot of evil spirits. He helped a lot of people to attain the bliss of Maharaj. He was also very fond of children. When he used to teach in school, children would grasp it immediately. He taught children to be an ideal child. He established an institute called ‘Shri Swaminarayan Divine Mission’ by the blessings of Bapashri. He performed many great activities. That child was none other than our beloved our dearest Muktaraj Narayan Mama.
