શ્લોક ૧૮૯

सर्वेन्द्रियाणी जेयानि रसना तु विशेषत: ।

न द्रव्यसङ् ग्रह: कार्य: कारणीयो न केनचित्॥189॥

અને સર્વે જે ઇંદ્રિયો તે જીતવી, ને રસના ઇંદ્રિયને તો વિશેષ કરીને જીતવી; અને દ્રવ્યનો સંગ્રહ પોતે કરવો નહિ ને કોઈ બીજા પાસે પણ કરાવવો નહિ. ॥189॥

And a saint should conquer the desires of all the senses and particularly the desires of taste should be conquered; and he should neither hoard material possessions nor ask someone else to do it for him. || 189 ||
